December passage - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

King James Version -
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

New American Standard Bible -
Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

New Revised Standard Version -
Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. God is Good verse - Psalm 100:5

King James Version - For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting ; and his truth endureth to all generations.

New American Standard Bible - For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations.

New Revised Standard Version - For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Good news verse - Romans 5:8

King James Version - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

New American Standard Bible - But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

New Revised Standard Version - But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.

How to live verse - 1 John 4:7-8

King James Version - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

New American Standard Bible - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone that loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Spiritual truth verse - 2 Chronicles 16:9

King James Version - For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

New American Standard Bible - For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.
